Here in Cambridge at least, the monthly cost for cable modem is $61. But if you also subscribe to basic cable service for $8, you get a $15 discount off the package. So the whole thing costs you only $54. Weird!
comcast costs us over $100 for cable and cable internet!!! I gotta go look at my bill. grrrr…I hate overpaying.
if you can get RCN, i hear it’s cheaper. also, if you’re able to put a dish on your building and don’t mind its appearance, it’s much cheaper to do dsl + dish network.
I got that offer through Best Buy and they included a $75 Best Buy gift certificate, a free cable modem, and the first 6 months of hi-speed internet for only $19.99!
